These terms describe the basis on which Maltar Services Pvt. Ltd. provides recruitment, RPO and workforce management services. They are a summary and a default position only. Where a signed agreement exists between Maltar and a client, that agreement prevails over anything on this page.
Engaging us
An engagement begins when a written agreement or service order is signed by both parties. It sets out the roles or scope covered, the fees, the payment terms, and the duration. Nothing on this website, and no proposal or quotation, creates an engagement on its own.
Our two service lines
Maltar Talent Solutions covers recruitment and talent acquisition — sourcing, screening, shortlisting and coordinating the hiring process for defined roles.
RPO & Workforce Management covers workforce administration. In these engagements the client directs and manages the work performed; Maltar manages the workforce administration framework. [HAVE YOUR LAWYER CONFIRM THIS AGAINST YOUR ACTUAL CONTRACTS. The allocation of employer obligations in an RPO or staffing arrangement is a significant legal question with statutory consequences, and it must not be settled by website copy.]
Fees and payment
Fees, the basis on which they are calculated, and the point at which they become payable are set out in the signed agreement. Unless agreed otherwise:
- Invoices are payable within [PAYMENT TERM, e.g. 30 days] of the invoice date
- [STATE WHETHER TAXES ARE INCLUSIVE OR EXCLUSIVE, AND WHICH TAXES APPLY]
- [STATE ANY LATE PAYMENT CONSEQUENCE, AND CONFIRM WITH YOUR LAWYER THAT THE RATE IS ENFORCEABLE]
Candidates are never charged. Maltar Services Pvt. Ltd. does not charge candidates any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
Replacement policy
Where a replacement policy applies to an engagement, it operates subject to the conditions set out in the signed agreement. It is not an unconditional guarantee.
[SET OUT THE ACTUAL CONDITIONS OF YOUR 90-DAY FREE REPLACEMENT POLICY — for example: which roles it covers, that fees must be settled, that the exit must not be caused by role or compensation changes on the client side, how many replacements are offered, and the notice required to invoke it. Cross-refer to the relevant clause of your standard agreement rather than restating it loosely.]
Service levels
Timelines published on our website and in proposals describe how we work and what we commit to — for example resume submission within 48–72 hours, interview scheduling within 24 hours, and offer release coordination within 24 hours. These are commitments about our process, not guarantees of a hiring outcome. Joining dates follow the client’s timeline. Payroll runs monthly and compliance is delivered as applicable to the specific engagement.
Client responsibilities
To deliver on the above, we rely on the client to provide accurate role requirements and compensation ranges, timely interview feedback, and timely decisions. Where these are delayed, our stated timelines do not apply for the period of the delay.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other’s confidential information confidential and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This survives the end of the engagement for [PERIOD].
Data protection
Each party will comply with applicable data protection law in respect of candidate and employee information exchanged under the engagement. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Non-solicitation and direct hiring
[IF YOU HAVE A CLAUSE COVERING A CLIENT HIRING A SUBMITTED CANDIDATE DIRECTLY, OR OUTSIDE THE ENGAGEMENT WINDOW, STATE IT HERE — INCLUDING THE PERIOD IT RUNS FOR AND THE FEE THAT APPLIES. THIS IS COMMERCIALLY IMPORTANT AND SHOULD MATCH YOUR AGREEMENT EXACTLY.]
Term and termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by giving [NOTICE PERIOD] written notice. Fees already earned, and work in progress at the date of termination, remain payable. [CONFIRM HOW WORK IN PROGRESS IS TREATED.]
Limitation of liability
[MUST BE DRAFTED BY YOUR LAWYER — see the note under Terms of Use. This clause carries the most commercial risk of anything on this page.]
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. [STATE YOUR DISPUTE PROCESS — negotiation, then arbitration at a named seat, or the courts at a named city.]
Changes
We may revise these terms. Revisions do not affect engagements already signed, which continue under the terms in force when they were signed.
